The Achievements of Handle Climate Change Film Festival Shows Up in the UN

Shenzhen Business Card shows up in the world!


November 6-17, the 23rd United Nations Climate Change Conference was held in Bonn, Germany. Shenzhen HANDLE, as a representative of private enterprises, participated in the cop23 for the third time as a member of the Chinese delegation. On the international stage, the voice of China's civil society on climate change was spreaded.

Shenzhen HANDLE,as a local company,the effort on promotion of green communication has become the example of "climate change folk power" in Shenzhen and the whole country. On November 10, Shenzhen HANDLE chairman Suping Chen made a speech on the China Pavilion with the theme of Climate Communication and Public Awareness of the Bonn Climate Change Conference to told the story of Shenzhen private enterprises using the means of film to carry out the green communication. And he hope more filmmakers to participate in the production of green films, become the green communicator, and also hope HCCFF can become an Oscar in the industry in the future.




2017 Handle Climate Change Film Festival

As one of the 31 series of themed side events on China Pavilion, there were United Nations Climate Change Secretariat, Climate Communication Project of Yale University, China Climate Communication Project Center, Center for International Organizations Studies Peking University, Shenzhen HANDLE and more than dozen of representatives made speeches. As a form of innovative climate communication, Handle Climate Change Film Festival attracted attention of many guests present.

As the first film festival held in China concerns on climate change, Handle Climate Change    

Film Festival was launched by Shenzhen HANDLE and Innovative Research Institute of Science Popularization, Shenzhen jointly another organizations. On September, 2nd HCCFF has held sucessully. In this session, the organizing committee added Green Teens unit. The Paths of Green and other 7 domestic outstanding films were screened on China Pavilion of Bonn Climate Change Conference. with the film to show the world China's determination on transformation of the mode of development and sustainable development path.


As the founder of HCCFF, Suping Chen hopes to make green film better by more efforts and innovation, let the world know more about China’s green story.
